That led to how to kill them when you have nothing other than what you can pick up. He taught himself how to throw pebbles hard and accurately. Now he could take game home and that meant no beatings. He liked no beatings and took home game regularly. He did so until the day he was caught. Normally he would have been hoisted up on a tree branch with a rope round his neck, he was lucky, he was sent for transportation.
