The year is 2029, and Covid 19 is now old news; but it's economic effects are still felt by the country of Botswana. Everything has collapsed, and the country has been divided into two. It is a war between the rich and the poor; between morality and immorality; between life and death. It is also the year of General elections.
The main character is a young lawyer, Advocate Tholo, who happens to be the Vice-President of the country. He has been working on some secret research on the 'history of diamonds' in Botswana with the Permanent Secretary to the President. One evening, he receives a call that left him devastated. The caller announced the death of his research partner.
In addition to his duties as Vice-President, he's determined to find the killer of his partner. For him to triumph, he has to survive serious attempts intended to end his life.

During his investigation, he discovers information that could shake the whole country. Information that could destroy the historical foundation of his country! He's a man at crossroads, and doesn't know what to do with the discovery."
