I see flashes of my death. Blood. Pain. Asphalt. But I can't piece together what happened. All I know is he turned me--Gael. Instead of letting me meet my day of judgment, he made me one of his kind. A demon.

Dragged to the depths of Hell, I'm now forced to prove myself worthy. The leaders of the condemned frown upon the siring of new demons and demand I complete three trials.

With time running out, I grudgingly enlist Gael to train me. It's the least he can do, considering everything the jerk has put me through. The pain, the suffering, the lust... That last one. That's the worst. Even with the world hammering at me from all angles, I can't ignore the heat that ignites inside me whenever I'm with him.

Life isn't supposed to be this difficult, but then again, my life is over. This is something else entirely.

You may be wondering why I don't just tell the powers that be to go to... well, you know where. If I fail, my soul will be sent to burn in the pits of Hell for eternity. No pressure, right?
