Aprašymas
The number of foundries producing castings in India, ferrous and nonferrous. All the industries which are metallic, machine components such as automobiles, trucks, tractors, locomotives, electric machinery, pumps etc., rely heavily on castings. The total casting produced is the indices of industrial growth of the country. Production of casting will continue to play an important role in the economic prosperity of a nation. A reasonable projection is that by 2030, India will be the largest casting producer in the world. This must be, albeit with new and better techniques of production based on energy conservation, under stringent control of quality and cost at the lowest levels to stimulate growth. Foundries will be required to be firm on quality as demanded from time to time and to have a leading edge at international competition. There is need for paradigm shift in foundry business practices in this digital era for profit making.
