Everything in our lives is subjective: the same way nobody will force you to eat some food, which you don't like - nothing will interest you in any reading, if it doesn't click with your personal life perception. We might start reading a book and leave it unfinished only because there is nothing about us there. Is it selfish? No, it is how we are wired: the whole world circulates around our ego center, either we want it or not. I am a very bad self-promoter and still: why am I so arrogantly predicting that you won't drop my book in the middle of your reading?
