As a Plebe at the Academy, Charlie is ordered by an upperclassman to research and report daily events in the Vietnam War. With each day, he discovers more and more horrendous facts about the U.S. involvement in this controversial war. Charlie faces a moral crisis when the story of the My Lai Massacre breaks. He is forced to choose between remaining in the Navy to appease an overbearing father or following his own path and ethical values.
