Network Analysis or Electrical Circuits Analysis is a foundation course for many Engineering disciplines like Electronics and Communications, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Science Engineering etc.In this third Edition, a separate, detailed chapter Laplace Transform Method of Analysis and a new chapter on Fourier series and transforms are added. This book introduces the basic elements of the network and presents simple analysis techniques for resistive networks. Steady state sinusoidal analysis is presented. Topological properties of networks and the analysis of networks based on these properties are discussed. Properties and analysis of 2-port networks are covered. Behavior of RLC networks for suddenly applied excitations is described. Analysis and design of frequency selective two port networks called filters and design of attenuators and equalizers are also discussed. Salient Features · Number of examples are worked out to illustrate the concepts developed. · Number of problems are given for the student to solve, at the end of each chapter. · Over 500 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) are given chapter-wise. · Gate Questions pertaining to Network analysis, from the year 2004 to 2014, are included at the end.
