Aprašymas
The elevator uses the microcontroller technology as its key building block. It is able to move up and down, stopping at floors as desired by the user through sensors. The three sensors installed divide the whole structure in a three storey building. A dc motor drives a cubicle (cube- shaped box), moving it through the structure. A circuit inside takes input signals from the sensors. In fact, the sensor output controls the motion of the cubicle. The control is such that when a sensor indicates a floor; the cubicle stops there, waiting for a call from some other floor. At the instant a call is made, the cubicle moves to the desired floor, responding to the call. Each storey has been fitted with one ¿way sliding doors that open only when the cubicle is present behind them.
