The embedded systems must be tested from different perspectives that include input, output, internal behavior, external behavior, relationships among the input and output variables and within the input and output variables.Combinatorial testing is a specification-based sampling technique that provides a systematic way to select combinations of program inputs or features for testing. It is an effective testing technique to test hardware, software and both together that reveal failures of a system based on input and output combinations. This book aims at investigating and presenting innovative combinatorial methods that can be used for generating test cases from different perspectives of embedded systems and also to provide a set of processes using which actual comprehensive testing of embedded systems can be undertaken.
