Aprašymas

Hockenschmidt is apparently a German name, without an Americanization of my friend's ex, and his forbears. She graciously allows me to use the name, in the more pure, German form, as my fictional character, Stanley Hockenschmidt. The word captured my imagination, and off I went, as the German American young man I once was, telling stories the way I always do, in a vernacular. Drawing on much of my own, as well as former associates' experience, as that of the flower child, hippie, substance abuser culture and generation, I was finally successful at extricating myself from a desperate learning experience. These stories are written as works, or attempts, to make a fiction of an uncertain memory, of a now-defunct culture. They are meant to be nostalgic and entertaining. Any relevance to actual people, or actual events, historically, is inadvertent and unintended.
