Did you ever wonder why a particular gift was given to you? Could you find one of those gifts today? I have received many gifts during my forty years of ministry. The gifts have come in many forms and style. The gifts were given to say thank you. This book is my attempt to say thank you for gifts given. The thank you is in the form of a reflection, prayer and scripture. The reflection sometimes describes a characteristic of the individual who gave the gift or an explanation about the situation surrounding the gift. Each reflection has a suggestive message to ponder. The prayer is for a quiet period of meditation. The scripture is for spiritual growth and study.
The author is a retired minister of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) denomination. He served four congregations and served as an Area Minister in the Southwest Region of his denomination. He has been a leader of spiritual retreats, conducted seminars for church leadership training, mentored young ministers and written liturgical worship/study material for congregations.
