There are clear documented professional guidelines for needs assessment as a foundation for CPD, evidence of needs analysis in the current nursing literature is limited. The author has highlighted nurses' practice, perceptions and needs in relation to their participation in continuing professional development. This book targets nurses and all stakeholders involved in designing and implementing continuing professional development programmes.
