Also other poems such as Ode, which gives reference to the late Senator Byrd, as well as Divorcing Nature, which is a blues inspired poem that depicts hurricane Katrina as an angry wife leaving her husband, all assist in providing a sense of completion and harmony between the two works. Furthermore, each book contains a wide variety of alternating themes and subjects that show a impressive level of depth and work to provide a brilliant introduction for a serious young writer.
